It’s positive news for Andre Villas-Boas ahead of our Europa League Round of 16, second leg against Inter Milan as both Emmanuel Adebayor and Aaron Lennon have travelled to Italy.

Team news

Emmanuel has missed our last two games after picking up a knee injury against Arsenal while Aaron came off late with a slight hamstring problem in the first leg against Inter. He missed Sunday’s defeat at Liverpool.

There was further good news as well as Clint Dempsey, out for the last four games with a calf strain, is expected to be available for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Fulham at the Lane.

“We’ve brought Ade, who has been involved in training and we’re making good progress with Aaron,” reported Andre before training. “There are good signs there and Clint Dempsey is almost ready to return, so it’s good, positive news.”

Younes Kaboul and Sandro (both knee) remain out while Gareth Bale is suspended for this match.
