The Egyptian international picked up a groin problem on Wednesday and Head Coach Martin Jol revealed that he hadn't trained on Friday.
Martin reported this afternoon: "Pedro is injured and Mido has a slight problem with his groin. He didn't train today.
"We'll tell the squad the team Saturday night or Sunday morning and we'll have to make a decision if Mido travels tomorrow."
As Martin mentioned, Pedro Mendes remains out with a broken toe while Andy Reid is again cup-tied having already played for Nottingham Forest in the competition.
Mido is a doubt for Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final at Newcastle United.
