Glenn Hoddle will leave it late before naming his starting line-up for Saturday's big FA Cup clash at Southampton.
The boss said there are a few 'knocks and bruises' around after a hectic festive Premiership campaign.
Simon Davies appears the main concern after missing the New Year's Day clash with a knee problem sustained at Newcastle.
Les Ferdinand is suspended and Jamie Redknapp (broken toe), Christian Ziege (thigh), Anthony Gardner (knee) and Matty Etherington (ankle) remain out.
Glenn reported: "Injury wise there are a few knocks and bruises and we'll probably have to leave it until Saturday to pick the team. You expect that at this time of year because the games come very quickly.
Glenn was quick to praise the effort of the lads over the festive season.
"They've been magnificent," he said. "A lot of them have played four games in a short period of time.
"The attitude has been great and the spirit is very, very good even though we've had two losses. Physically it's demanding, very demanding and we've played the last two matches on very heavy pitches. We're okay though."
