Andy Reid and Paul Stalteri are Martin Jol's main injury concerns as he prepares for Saturday's friendly at Birmingham City.

Winger Andy has picked up a foot sprain and full-back Paul an ankle knock and both miss the trip to St Andrews.

The match gives fans the chance to see summer arrivals Dimitar Berbatov - pictured right with the first issue of the all-new Hotspur magazine, out today - and Benoit Assou-Ekotto in the UK after they made their friendly debuts at our training camp in France.

Martin said: "We have two injuries - Paul Stalteri and Andy Reid. I think Paul will be out for the next week to 10 days and Andy three or four weeks, which is a disappointment for both us and him.

"Other than that everything's looking fine. We'll take 18 players with us to Birmingham and next week will be important with the players coming back from World Cup duty."

Aaron Lennon, Michael Carrick and Jermaine Jenas were all back at Spurs Lodge on Friday - they won't be taking any part at Birmingham - with Paul Robinson, Didier Zokora and Lee Young-Pyo due to arrive back on Monday.
