Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Dean Richards remains sidelined for Friday's Premiership clash against Manchester City at the Lane.

The big defender has trained well this week following a troublesome back but the televised encounter appears to have come a fraction too early.

Gary Doherty is also ruled out with a knee injury but Matthew Etherington has shrugged off a back problem and is named in the squad.

Jamie Redknapp (stress fracture of foot), Christian Ziege (knee), Steffen Freund (groin) and Jamie Slabber (ankle) remain out.

Better news sees striker Steffen Iversen back in the squad and in line for his first Premiership appearance since February after back trouble.

"Things have started to ease this week," revealed boss Glenn Hoddle. "The players we've still got out are Jamie, Christian, Steffen Freund and young Jamie Slabber who came into the squad but unfortunately picked up and ankle injury.

"Dean Richards has had a good week's training and Steffen Iversen has played a couple of reserve games now.

"Matthew has been suffering with a slight back problem and Doc has a knee problem that has flared up on and off since Christmas.

"Jamie has just started some ball work and running and we're hoping he will be ready as soon as possible."

Squad: Keller, Sullivan, Bunjevcevic, Carr, Gardner, King, Perry, Taricco, Anderton, Davies, Acimovic, Etherington, Poyet, Toda, Iversen, Sheringham, Ricketts, Keane.
