Ledley King may have a chance of featuring at Anfield, but Harry Redknapp's injury concerns are mounting ahead of Sunday's trip to Merseyside.
The manager reported this afternoon (Friday, May 13) that William Gallas had suffered a calf injury at Manchester City on Tuesday.
William joins Heurelho Gomes (back), Benoit Assou-Ekotto (hamstring), Jermaine Jenas (calf), Alan Hutton (knee) and Gareth Bale (ankle) on the sidelines.
Add doubts over the fitness of Luka Modric (hip) and Tom Huddlestone (ankle) and you can see why Harry's reply was 'I don't know where to start' after being asked about team news.
"William Gallas isn't fit and he's probably out for the rest of the season after injuring his calf at City," reported Harry after training.
"Benoit, Jermaine Jenas and Alan Hutton aren't fit and we'll have to see how Luka is tomorrow, the same with Tom Huddlestone as well.
"Heurelho Gomes is also still struggling. Carlo Cudicini came in and played well at City, I was delighted with him.
"We've a few out but it gives other players a chance like Danny Rose, he's done great for us at left-back and I've been delighted with him as well."
