Les Ferdinand has been named in the squad for tonight's FA Cup third round tie at Coventry City.
There were fears that our top-scorer this season would be out for a few weeks after picking up an ankle injury at Ipswich Town on Saturday.
But as we reported on Monday, Les and Glenn revealed that the problem had settled down and although unsure whether or not tonight could come too quickly for him, the boss has the boost of being able to name Les in the 18-man party for Highfield Road.
It's a timely boost as well for Glenn having lost Steffen Freund (cruciate knee ligament) at Chelsea last week, Christian Ziege (knee) at Ipswich on Saturday and Teddy Sheringham serves the last of his three-match
Squad: Sullivan, Keller, Perry, Richards, King, Gardner, Thelwell, Taricco, Davies, Sherwood, Anderton, Leonhardsen, Poyet, Etherington, Ferdinand, Rebrov, Iversen, Piercy.
