Asked whether his recruit from Southampton would play, Glenn replied: "There is every liklehood he will start."
If Dean does play, Glenn will have to decide whether to revert to a 3-5-2 system and sacrifice a midfielder or striker, or stick with the 4-4-2 he has employed in the last two games.
Anthony Gardner and Ben Thatcher both featured in Monday's reserve game, but it was their first competitive outing since returning from injury. Tim Sherwood played the first half after recovering from a thigh strain.
"There is not a lot of change on the injury front," reported Glenn. "Tim Sherwood will be looking at returning in the next ten days, he's only played half a reserve game."
Goran Bunjevcevic, Stephen Clemence, Steffen Iversen, Willem Korsten and Chris Armstrong are on the long-term injured list.
"If you look at the treatment room, it looks like a few of them will be out for a while yet," added Glenn.
Glenn has hinted that Dean Richards is in line for his Spurs debut against Manchester United at the Lane on Saturday.
