Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Glenn Hoddle says Darren Anderton and Christian Ziege are closing in on fitness - but Villa may come too soon for them.

Midfielder Darren has a slight knee problem while Christian picked up an ankle knock against Celtic.

If neither make it, the boss could be without up to 10 first teamers for our first home game of the Premiership campaign.

Steffen Freund, Steve Clemence, Ledley King, Steve Carr, Gus Poyet, Tim Sherwood and Alton Thelwell are all sidelined and there are doubts if Steffen Iversen will play after his brother was involved in a serious car accident.

There are some positives though - neither Steve Carr or Gus's injuries are as bad as first feared and Steffen Freund is ready for action again after seven months out with a cruciate knee injury.

Glenn explained: "We've still got the likes of Steffen Freund, Stephen Clemence, Ledley King all out.

"We've doubts over Christian Ziege still and Darren Anderton, although they are very close.

"I would hope if it wasn't Saturday, which it could be, then they might make Charlton on Tuesday. They are on the way back slowly but surely.

"Stevie Carr and Gus are still out, although the news is positive on them and Tim Sherwood has a slight ligament but, again, he should be fit soon."
