Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

All eyes are again on Darren Anderton’s powers of recovery as we prepare to step into the Anfield cauldron on Saturday.

Midfielder Darren is still treating his inflamed Achilles with care and boss Glenn Hoddle admitted he was a doubt after his efforts at Sunderland on Wednesday.

Les Ferdinand is also a ‘slight doubt’ with a knock sustained at the Stadium of Light.

Big defender Anthony Gardner is back in the squad for the first time since damaging ligaments last May. He’s had a couple of behind-closed-doors friendlies but is not expected to feature.

As long as Les and Darren make it, expect few changes from midweek.

“There is certainly nothing out of the treatment room at the moment,” Glenn pointed out yesterday. “Anthony Gardner will travel with us but realistically, he’ll play a reserve team game first.

“Darren and Les are the slight doubts and I won’t be naming the team until tomorrow."

Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard starts a three-game ban received for his red card against Aston Villa two weeks ago.

And with a midweek Champions League game against Dynamo Kiev looming, Gerard Houllier may opt to make more than the one enforced change, with Jari Litmanen, Jamie Redknapp and Robbie Fowler all set to figure.

Markus Babbel and Patrik Berger are still out with illness and injury.
