Dean Richards and Teddy Sheringham remain injury doubts for Saturday's Premiership trip to Aston Villa.
Boss Glenn Hoddle reported that both players had improved but, speaking on Thursday, insisted it was too early to know if they would be fit in time to play a part at Villa Park.
Glenn said: "We've not picked up any fresh injuries and the players who have been injured are recovering slowly.
"There is an improvement in the treatment room but it's too early to know if Dean Richards or Teddy Sheringham will be fit.
"We're not in a posoition to say yet whether or not they are 100 per cent fit because they've been off for a few days."
Matthew Etherington, Anthony Gardner and Alton Thelwell all successfully completed a second full reserve game after injury earlier in the week.
Jamie Redknapp (broken toe) has stepped up his rehabilitation at Spurs Lodge this week but remains out with Christian Ziege (thigh).
Better news sees both Les Ferdinand and Steffen Freund available again after suspension.
