Taricco back at Portman Road

Posted on 26 November 2002  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Mauricio Taricco will make his comeback for the reserves in familiar surroundings at Portman Road tomorrow night.

The full-back has been sidelined by a groin problem since our win at Blackburn Rovers in early October but returns to action against his former club Ipswich Town in the the FA Premier Reserve League encounter.

Mauricio joins another star-studded cast for a reserve fixture with Chris Perry, Ben Thatcher, Steve Clemence, Jonathan Blondel, Les Ferdinand and Sergei Rebrov all scheduled to start.

Town will also field a strong team with the likes of Andy Marshall, Mark Venus, Richard Naylor, Martjin Reuser, Finidi George and Pablo Counago - regulars for the Suffolk outfit in the Premiership - all in the squad.

The game kicks-off at 7pm.

Spurs squad: Hirschfeld, Marney, Perry, O'Donoghue, Thatcher, Taricco, Ricketts, Clemence, Blondel, Ferdinand, Rebrov, S Kelly, Burch, Bortolozzo, Galbraith, Snee.
