"I should be alright for the weekend," he reported. "I thought I had a dead leg after the Man Utd game, but it didn't settle down and it turned out to be a small strain. It is only a minor thing though and I am working hard to try and be alright for Sunday.
"Fingers crossed, at the minute it looks like I will be," he added, before stating his relief that it was only a small setback.
"It was a little bit annoying, but the main thing is it was nothing long-term. These things happen, you play tough games and you can pick up a knock that keeps you out for a game.
"I've been feeling good recently and will hopefully have the chance of playing a few more games."
