Tano injured himself at St James Park, appearing to get his studs caught in the turf. He and Goran Bunjevcevic are the only ones out of the injured with a chance of featuring at the Lane.
"Not too bad," said Glenn of the injury picture. "Taricco is a major doubt from last week when he turned his ankle, although not as bad as we first thought. He's had a couple of light sessions and has got a chance.
"If it was a Sunday, maybe, Monday would be a definite. So it's one of them - touch and go.
"The rest of the guys are coming back slowly. Goran has had a couple of reserve games, he will be in the squad but from what I've seen so far he's not 100 per cent convinced yet for starting. We'll see how he is tomorrow, he's getting better though."
Tano remaining in the line-up appears crucial to Glenn retaining his often favoured 3-5-2 formation.
"You've got to say that that's been working well for us since we've changed it. We had to go with a 4-4-2 for a time, but we switched for Derby and Newcastle and it's gone well - so without Mauricio we'll probably have to change the shape."
