The Argentinean striker, recently added to the Stamford Bridge cast list, could make his first start in Chelsea colours against us on Saturday and Mauricio feels he possesses the credentials to make an impact following his move from Inter Milan.
"He is a goalscorer and also a very good player - who can hold the ball and keep possession.
"Then again, the Italian League is a very different style of game. Coming here sometimes is a bit hectic, the football is really quick and you don't get any time.
"You tend to lose the ball a bit more because of the speed of the game. It will take a bit of time for some of them at Chelsea - even though they are internationals and good players.
"I'm pretty sure it will take a little bit of time for Crespo, but I'm pretty sure he will do well. He is strong and good in the air, so he has got the basics - and he is talented."
