Mark Yeates hopes he can make a similar impact on Premiership proceedings in future to a player he much admires who hails from the same town as him in Dublin.
Tallaght is the town, Robbie Keane, of course, is the player and the two featured in the same team for the first time against Wolves on the final day of the season at Molineux.
Both players like to employ a hefty degree of trickery in their game and it was a mazy run and threaded pass from the 19-year-old that led to Robbie continuing his remarkable scoring record against his former clubs.
Style-wise, the Tallaght boys have been described as alike - while 'Yeatesey' has a bit of that cheeky Gazza look about him. He says comparisons with Robbie are somewhat premature.
"A lot of people have likened me to Keano - to be only half as good as him would be something," he sighed.
"I have to work hard because I've seen how hard he works. I set him up for the goal and that was brilliant - I think I got more excited than he did."
