Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Our Academy squad clinched third place in the Cup of the Alps on Sunday.

Goals from Stephen Kelly and Lee Barnard (pictured) were enough for a 2-0 win against BSC Young Boys in the third/fourth place play-off in Naters, Switzerland.

Kelly gave the lads the perfect start by burying John Sutton's flick on after just three minutes and Barnard finished his one-on-one chance after 45 minutes to put the issue beyond doubt.

Coach Michael Stone beamed: "We're absolutely delighted with the lads. It was a great education against foreign opposition and they all did very, very well."

Holders Athletico Madrid retained their title after beating Juventus in the final.

A goal in the 14th minute proved enough for Atletico Madrid in the final group game although the Spanish youngsters were indebted to their goalkeeper for the win after making a host of saves, most notably from Lee Barnard. The result meant Atletico Madrid went through to the final and we went into the third/fourth play-off.
