Sven call for trio

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Jermain Defoe, Ledley King and Paul Robinson have been named in the England squad for the opening World Cup qualifiers against Austria and Poland.


Sven Goran Eriksson was at the Lane to see Jermain's magnificent winner and Ledley and Paul help us to a clean sheet against Birmingham City on Saturday.


All three have been in fine form this season and while goalkeeper Paul may have to sit both game out on the bench again as number two, Ledley and Jermain have a chance of starting both matches.
