John Sutton was the star as our Under-17s made it two wins out of two in the FA Premier Academy League.

The striker, pictured right, netted in the 34th and 51st minutes as we beat Crewe Alexandra 2-1 at Spurs Lodge on Saturday. Boss Jimmy Neighbour enthused: "We're very pleased with the boys so far."

It wasn't such good news for the Under-19s. They were beaten 2-1 at Huddersfield Town despite dominating for long periods in the second half.

George Snee put us 1-0 up from a set-piece after 20 minutes but the home side hit back 10 minutes later and grabbed all three points with a breakaway goal in the second half.

Manager Pat Holland said: "Overall I've been pleased with the boys. I was delighted with the way we beat Blackburn last week but we've had a few international call-ups and that is bound to affect the side."
