Sunday showdown!

Our Under-18s face Arsenal at White Hart Lane on Sunday for the chance to be crowned national champions of the Premier Academy League.

Kick-off is 4pm on Sunday - ticket details are at the bottom of this story.

Divisional title-winners for the first time since 2002, the lads continued their outstanding season in the PAL by beating Sunderland in the play-off semi-finals at the Stadium of Light on Wednesday night.

Ryan Mason's penalty and a 20-yarder from Andros Townsend secured a 2-1 win against a side that won 22 of 28 PAL games on their way to winning their division by 22 points.

Of course, the incentive for the lads was the chance to take on Arsenal back on the main stage.

The teams met in the FA Youth Cup quarter-final in front of almost 20,000 fans back in March. Arsenal ran out 3-1 winners in a fine game and have gone on to reach the FAYC Final, playing Liverpool over two legs.

They reached the final of the PAL play-offs first by winning Group A by 25 points and then beating Manchester City in the semi-final.

"Everyone wanted the chance to play Arsenal again," said coach Alex Inglethorpe. "And I'm sure Arsenal will look forward to it as well because I know they enjoyed the challenge.

"I just hope fans come out and support us like they did in the first game because that was an amazing experience for both players and staff.

"It was a huge lift for everyone and we were so disappointed not to be able to deliver the right result last time - we all want to do it this time."

All lower tiers will be open, with turnstiles opening at 2.00pm.
