Souleymane Coulibaly and Daniel Akindayini bagged two goals each as our Under-18s beat MK Dons 4-1 on Saturday.
Coulibaly - pictured - was involved in all four goals and opened the scoring in the 13th minute only for MK to level from a corner in this Premier Academy League encounter.
Akindayini struck 10 minutes before the break and 10 minutes after to put the lads in control at 3-1 before Coulibaly's second completed the scoring at 4-1 just after the hour.
The win made it six unbeaten and stretched the team's run to one loss in 11 matches in all competitions - good form to take into Wednesday's FA Youth Cup fourth round tie at the Cardiff City Stadium.
"I thought we played ever so well," said coach Alex Inglethorpe.
"For the first goal we pressed well, forced the goalkeeper into a mistake and Souleymane made it look easy, skipped around him and tapped into an empty net. It wasn't easy though and a great finish.
"We conceded from a corner, which was disappointing but we were soon in front again, Souleymane fired it in and Daniel showed good anticipation to get between the defender and goalkeeper to steer the ball home.
"The third goal came when Souleymane's volley hit both posts, came out and Daniel showed good predatory instincts to finish.
"Souleymane did well for the fourth goal as well, driving in and bending the ball into the bottom corner.
"We had plenty of chances on top of the four goals and it was a good performance.
"Milton Keynes is never an easy place to go, they make it difficult for you and it was a good win."
