Spurs 'Legends' Cliff Jones, Ralph Coates and John Pratt attended the opening of the new re-fitted megastore at White Hart Lane.
To mark the launch of the shirt, the first 300 customers purchasing shirts were given a pass to an exclusive party on August 1. The lucky winners will be able to see the first team train at White Hart Lane, and have access to the players for autograph signing.
The club recently signed a four year deal with Italian sportswear giant Kappa which will see the players wearing the latest shirt technology with Kappa's Kombat 2002 design. Kappa already produces kit for several major European sporting clubs, and also the Italian international squad.
The technology behind the fabric of its sports clothing is revolutionary due to its blend of Meryl® Microfibre and Lycra®. The Kombat 2002 is the lightest football jersey on the market today and benefits from exceptional absorption and drying properties, allowing the player's body to cool effectively. The unique elasticity allows the shirt to stretch up to 130%, and deters shirt pulling.
Tottenham Hotspur today began the sale of its new home kit at its White Hart Lane and Harlow stores. The Kappa kit will be exclusively on sale in the Spurs stores for the next three days before going on general sale in most sports outlets.
