Stevenage tickets still on sale

Posted on 8 July 2005  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Martin Jol revealed that at least three of our five new signings will play a part in the pre-season opener at Stevenage Borough on Saturday.

Tickets are still available for the clash at Broadhall Way and can be obtained by calling the Stevenage Ticket Hotline on: 01438 218061.

"Last year at Stevenage was a big surprise for me, I think it was a sell-out and we had a good game," recalled Martin this morning.

"We will use a lot of players because we are preparing them for the season. We've had a good week back and the iceing on the cake will be the game on Saturday. The main thing for me is for the players to have at least 45 minutes to build them up again.

"Paul Stalteri has got an injury so he won't be playing. Wayne Routledge is fit, Tom Huddlestone will play as will Teemu Tainio. With Aaron Lennon I will have to look at selection with Chris because we have 31 players, but maybe he will play too.

"It will be a good chance to assess the squad and I think the supporters will see most of the players."
