After we changed to 4-3-3 we played better, kept the ball better and made them run. I think later, when we went 2-1 up, it could have been much more if we had been a little bit more clever.
We deserved to win, but we have to start better in games. They actually scored when we were beginning to play better but, in the early stages, they always seemed to have more men around the ball and it was difficult to catch them.
We changed the system and got back into it, but then they scored. It shows the character of the team to come back after falling behind. The win is the most important thing.
Looking at the table makes the win a massive one - we are now in touch with the top six and only one point behind Liverpool - two points behind Everton in fourth.
I think people will start to believe and we are really close now. If we can perform like that against Charlton then we are back in the top six, I'm sure.
Around this time last year we lost to Ipswich who were bottom of the table - so we really need to concentrate on the Charlton game.
If we play like we did against Arsenal and Manchester City we have a good chance. We must beat them at home - nothing else will do.
It would be a good present for the fans - Merry Christmas to you all!
It was a fine win for us over Manchester City at Maine Road on Monday evening. The first 20 minutes were awful, we have to be honest, and they could have gone one or two up.
