Of course, I am disappointed, I would be lying if I didn't say that, but at this stage all I want to do is concentrate on the rest of the season.
I'm looking forward to the last 13 games and I hope I am still a part of the team and the squad. I want to help us qualify for Europe.
Losing to Newcastle was a step backwards for us because it was a massive game and with a win, we would have been very much in touch with the top four.
Instead, we're eighth and the likes of Manchester City, who had a good win against Fulham, and Charlton are just behind us.
We now play Chelsea. We know all about our record against them in the league and we need a draw now to stay in touch.
As I said, qualifying for Europe would be the perfect finish for me. I know what has happened, I know I am leaving at the end of the season but I will do the same as I always have - give my all in the games, work hard, hopefully I will play a part and we will qualify for Europe. It is possible that the qualification might go down to seventh spot and we are definitely capable of that.
Losing in the last minute was disappointing for everyone but we have to believe we can put it right at Chelsea.
Everyone knows by now that the club has decided not to offer me a new contract at the end of my current deal.
