Our positive-thinking midfielder seemed slightly annoyed at the question of Wednesday night’s magnificent FA Cup win at Charlton being the saviour of our season and that everything had been negative beforehand.
"It is time to change the negative things," he said.
"We win the important games — we won against Leyton Orient, which is never easy, we won against Charlton after being 2-0 down and before that we had four clean sheets and beat Newcastle 4-2. I don’t think that is too negative.
"Charlton was a great, great performance and if someone thinks negative now then I cannot believe it.
"I know we can play better but we are not Manchester United. Don’t put our level to United or Arsenal. If you come down a level then you realise it was a great performance.
"I know we haven’t played well all the time but we’ve been holding clean sheets and have not lost this year — don’t forget it!"
Steffen Freund has declared: "It’s time to stop being negative."
