Spurs XI squad

Posted on 15 July 2005  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Chris Riley comes into the Spurs XI squad for the friendly against Cheshunt at Theobalds Lane on Friday night.

The Academy defender travels but coach Clive Allen has lost Phil Ifil and Kieran McKenna to the European Under-19 Championships in Northern Ireland.

The coach wants to see his squad step up a level from last week's 1-1 draw in their opening friendly at Fleet Town.

"I'm looking for a progression through the friendlies," said Clive. "Our fitness should have come on since playing Fleet last Sunday and I'm looking for us to be sharper, stronger and our passing crisper.

"I'm also hoping to see us take a few chances. We created a few at Fleet without really taking advantage."

Squad: Forecast, Button, Riley, Mills, Defendi, Daniels, Lee, Lewis, Maghoma, O'Hara, Kyriacou, Barcham, Barnard, Hallfredsson, Seanla.
