A Spurs XI side are in friendly action at Crawley Town tonight, kick off 7.45pm at The Broadfield Stadium.
Dorian Dervite, John Bostock, Jon Obika and Danny Rose are all included in Clive Allen's squad after their involvement with the First Team this summer.
We will be hoping to avenge a heavy 6-1 defeat suffered at the hands of Steve Evans' side in a similar friendly match last July.
And having followed up a reverse at Aldershot Town with a victory over St Neots Town last time out, coach Clive is confident the XI will be approaching tonight's fixture with the right attitude.
He said: "In pre-season it's all about performances, not about the results, and although the performance was poor last year, it may not have been such a bad thing because it gave the lads a kick up the backside and the response was very good after that.
"We've also seen that this summer when we had a really good response at St Neots after the Aldershot game.
"The lads will need similar application to tonight's game because Crawley are only a few days away from the start of their Blue Square Premier season, so they will be in good condition."
In terms of the strong squad Clive has at his disposal in Sussex tonight, he added: "Some of the lads have had the experience of being involved with the First Team group this summer, playing their part in the Wembley Cup and a wonderful trip to the Far East.
"Those lads would have had a very busy week leading up to this game, but now it's all about how they apply themselves tonight."
