Kudus Oyenuga struck twice as our Spurs XI beat Leicester City 3-1 in a training ground friendly on Wednesday.

The Academy striker netted both goals in the second half of an competitive encounter in the pouring rain at Spurs Lodge. Harry Kane joined him on the scoresheet from the penalty spot.

Earlier, Danny Rose came closest to breaking the deadlock in the first half when his free-kick struck the woodwork.

Jake Livermore, Kyle Walker and Kyle Naughton also featured and impressed coach Tim Sherwood.

"It was a good work-out for them," said Tim. "They all look like they needed playing time and they will have all benefited from a game like that.

"Leicester applied themselves well and I thought the lads' attitude was spot on. Jake Livermore was outstanding in midfield. It was ideal for us."
