We are taking a Spurs XI to Broadhall Way - our 'home' for reserve team matches - for a 7pm kick off and reserve team boss Colin sees it as an ideal game for players on the fringe of the first team or returning from injury.
With that in mind the likes of Kasey Keller, Alton Thelwell, Anthony Gardner, Ben Thatcher, Stephen Clemence, Tim Sherwood, Oyvind Leonhardsen and Steffen Iversen could all be involved but our squad wil not be finalised until after training today.
Colin said: "There are one or two coming back from injury and it will be an ideal time to give them another game.
"We hope to have a few of the players who would like to be in and around the first team involved and anyone who hasn't played in the last couple of weeks. We hope to take as strong a team as possible.
"We just want to give those lads a chance of another match and I know that Stevenage will give us a good match. We've enjoyed being there with the reserves, it's a decent pitch and if we can get a half-decent crowd in it will make it all the better."
Colin expects a tough encounter against the Nationwide Conference outfit. "The Conference is a good place to go and play and the teams who have come out have done well in the Third Division," he added. "The days are long gone when you thought it would be easy playing a non-league team. We expect and I'm sure we'll get a good game."
Just a reminder that the match kicks off at 7pm and entrance is £5 for adults and £3 concessions.
Colin Calderwood will take 'as strong a team as possible' to tonight's friendly at Stevenage Borough.
