'JD', who began his career at West Ham, chalked up five goals for us against the Hammers including this beauty at the Lane on November 25, 2012.
It was one of two goals for the striker on the day with Gareth Bale fashioning a finish for the second goal as we ran out 3-0 winners.

West Ham, then known as 'Thames Ironworks', were one of the first visitors to White Hart Lane, which officially opened with a friendly against Notts County on September 4, 1899. The Irons arrived for a Southern League fixture on November 4, and were duly dispatched 7-0 with goals from Pratt (3), Morris (2), Copeland and Kirwan.
Fast-forward to 1920, and our first senior fixture against the Hammers, now known as West Ham, saw a 3-0 win in the FA Cup. Charlie Wilson (2) and Arthur Grimsdell were on target on February 21, 1920.

Only five players have scored hat-tricks against the Hammers - Frank Osbourne was first with a treble in a 4-2 win in Division One on November 7, 1925. Jimmy Dimmock (1926), Dave Mackay (1962), Clive Allen (1987) and Gary Lineker (1992) followed suit.
Teams used to play throughout Christmas back in the day - often on Christmas Day - and it was no different in our double season of 1960-61. On this occasion, we beat West Ham 2-0 at the Lane on Christmas Eve thanks to goals from John White and Terry Dyson and then followed up with a 3-0 win at Upton Park on Boxing Day, White, Les Allen and an own goal seeing us home.

Clive Allen put together our greatest-ever goalscoring season with 49 in 1986-87, including a hat-trick against West Ham at the Lane in a League Cup fifth round replay on February 2, 1987. It was seen as one of our best displays of a season that saw us finish third in Division One, runners-up in the FA Cup and reach the semi-finals of the League Cup. Clive also struck twice in a 4-0 league win at the Lane that season.
