Planned Underground strike
Supporters who use the London Underground as part of their journeys to/from the stadium should be aware that there is an RMT strike currently planned to take place from the evening of Saturday, February 6, for 48 hours. If this strike does go ahead, Tube services would be disrupted from early evening on Saturday. The strike is due to start around 9pm although stations could be affected up to several hours in advance of that. Services on London Overground, the bus network, TFL Rail services and other TFL networks will run normally but they may be busier than usual.
UPDATE - FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2016 - 5PM
It is understood that the above planned strike will not now go ahead. However, supporters are still advised to check before travelling. Visit tfl.gov.uk/tube-strike or follow @TfLTravelAlerts, @TfLTrafficNews and @TfLBusAlerts on Twitter for the latest information.
Engineering works - Anglia Main Line
In addition to the usual matchday Abellio services, those supporters who use other parts of the operator’s network should be aware that there are major engineering works taking place on the Anglia Main Line which runs from Liverpool Street, via stations including Romford, Brentwood, Shenfield, Chelmsford, Witham and Colchester, throughout February and March. Rail replacement bus services will be in operation between Ingatestone and Newbury Park tube station throughout weekends in February with further blockages on different parts of the same route right through to April. Supporters are advised to plan their journey before they travel if they live in these areas.
