Spurs v Palace - team news

Posted on 18 August 2016  - 14:05

Heung-Min Son is back from the Olympics in Brazil and available for our first home match of the season against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday (3pm).

'Sonny' bowed out at the quarter-final stage with South Korea in Rio but will have happier memories of the last time Palace were in Premier League action at the Lane - he scored the winner and his first Premier League goal for us in a 1-0 win last September.

Hugo Lloris , who picked up a hamstring injury at Everton and Mousa Dembele (suspended) are sidelined.

Mauricio Pochettino reported on Thursday: "Son is available, he arrived a little bit sad after the elimination in the quarter-final and we’ll see. We need to assess him tomorrow and we’ll see if he’s in the squad or not.

"Mousa Dembele is suspended and Hugo Lloris is out, we hope it's not too bad and he'll be back with us again after the (international) break."
