Spurs v Anderlecht - pick up a programme!

Posted on 5 November 2015  - 09:51

With Anderlecht visiting White Hart Lane for the first time since our famous 1984 UEFA Cup Final victory, tonight’s official matchday programme features a running theme with “84 Memories of ’84.”

Jan Vertonghen is pictured on tonight's front cover...... and the defender is also the subject of our main interview

In a unique look back on that historic occasion, we hear from fans who were there, players from both teams – including an exclusive interview with Anderlecht’s former midfielder and Christian Eriksen’s current Danish national team manager Morten Olsen – and staff, notably our manager at the time, Keith Burkinshaw.

There are 84 individuals having their say in total – are you one of them? Pick up tonight’s official matchday programme to find out!

Elsewhere in this evening’s issue, Jan Vertonghen takes pride of place on the front cover and is the subject of our main interview – discussing the importance of home form, taking on Belgian opponents and reflecting on his 100th Premier League appearance in Monday night’s win over Aston Villa.

Mauricio Pochettino also has his say in his latest exclusive programme column, while we’ve all you need to know about Anderlecht’s current players along with a round-up of the state of play across all the Europa League groups.

Ryan Mason’s very first senior appearance against NEC Nijmegen back in November, 2008, comes under the spotlight in ‘Away the Lads’ while we trace what young goalkeeper Luke McGee and legendary former stopper Ian Walker were up to during this week in years gone by in the latest instalment of our ‘Tracking Back’ feature.

Plus, we take a pictorial look at the career of former striker Mark Falco, we’ve some exclusive photos of the players in training at Hotspur Way ahead of the game, there’s a round-up of all the latest news from around the club and much more – all included in tonight’s 100-page official matchday programme. Buy yours for £3.50 from various locations around the stadium and from the Spurs Megastore.
