Spurs Snapshot

Posted on 10 February 2004  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Today's Snapshot takes us to Ireland and a chance meeting with Gary Doherty and Steve Carr at Dublin Airport...

These photos with Gary Doherty and Steven Carr were taken when by chance I met the team in the arrivals hall in Dublin Airport last year when we played a friendly against Bohemians in Dalymount Park.

As a season ticket holder and member I couldn't believe my luck when I arrived on a flight from Gatwick and the team had flown in from Stansted. And even though we lost the friendly, it made the trip all worth while by meeting the team at the airport.

Being Irish myself, I'm delighted with the fantastic Irish contingent in the present Spurs team - Robbie, Steve, Doc and Chris.

Come On You Spurs!

If you've got a digital snap (JPG format) that you feel deserves exposure to the wider Spurs audience then send it in with a few words of explanation and, depending on how many we receive each week, we will pop them on the site daily.

Whether it is a picture of your Spurs-supporting offspring, pics of you wearing the colours at home or away games feeling joy or pain or flying the flag in an unusual place - just send them in. Sometimes we will throw one in from the training ground.

Please note: Permission of a parent is required to publish pictures of children (if you have already sent pics - please forward a short email giving permission to use).
