Spurs Snapshot

Posted on 2 June 2004  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Today's Snapshot features a young fan who posed with a few players after the Leicester game at the Lane...

Here's some photographs of my son Liam Brien taken after the home game against Leicester, he likes to wait outside the ground after games to meet the players and collect autographs. He'd be over the moon if any or all of the pictures were used on the website.

He'll be nine in March 9th, has been a Spurs supporter all his life and we are season ticket holders in the Paxton Road. Jurgen Klinsmann was his first Spurs hero, Robbie Keane is his present favourite and whilst playing for his Sunday league team he's been known to "do a Robbie" and lurk behind the keeper rubbing his shin hoping the keeper will forget he's there. His most prized possession is a shirt signed to him personally by Robbie which is framed and hanging in his room. He's convinced he will be a Tottenham player one day, has done the maths and worked out that he could partner Robbie up front by the year 2013. He's decided to partner Robbie up front for Eire as well as he qualifies through his grandfather.

Best Regards,
Vinnie Brien.

If you've got a digital snap (JPG format) that you feel deserves exposure to the wider Spurs audience then send it in with a few words of explanation and, depending on how many we receive each week, we will pop them on the site daily.

Whether it is a picture of your Spurs-supporting offspring, pics of you wearing the colours at home or away games feeling joy or pain or flying the flag in an unusual place - just send them in. Sometimes we will throw one in from the training ground.

Please note: Permission of a parent is required to publish pictures of children (if you have already sent pics - please forward a short email giving permission to use).
