Spurs Snapshot

Posted on 2 February 2004  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Today's Snapshot features a young former Man Utd fan swiftly converted to Spurs on a visit to the Lane...

This is a picture of my son Jordan Donnelly, aged 7, when we attended the Spurs-Everton game last September. Up to that day Jordan was a Man Utd fan but, on visiting White Hart Lane for the 1st time with his dad a lifelong Spurs Fan, he was quickly converted.

What a fabulous day we both had travelling from Dublin to the game and we where fortunate to witness the "Goal of the Season" from Fredi. Then to cap the day off, Jordan's favourite player Robbie Keane scored the 3rd.

We intend to make our visits to White Hart Lane a more regular occurrence and I look forward to seeing my son Jordan lining out for Spurs in the coming years.

If you've got a digital snap (JPG format) that you feel deserves exposure to the wider Spurs audience then send it in with a few words of explanation and, depending on how many we receive each week, we will pop them on the site daily.

Whether it is a picture of your Spurs-supporting offspring, pics of you wearing the colours at home or away games feeling joy or pain or flying the flag in an unusual place - just send them in. Sometimes we will throw one in from the training ground.

Please note: Permission of a parent is required to publish pictures of children (if you have already sent pics - please forward a short email giving permission to use).
