Striker Bobby pulled out of the England Under-21 squad this week after feeling a twinge in his groin after Saturday's opener at Birmingham City.
Meanwhile, Steve complained of stiffness in his back on international duty with Ireland.
Glenn explained: "Bobby has had a groin problem but it has settled this week.
"We had to pull him out of the Under-21s because he felt it at Birmingham.
"He hasn't had too much pre-season himself with this problem but he's progressing nicely and hopefully we'll declare him fit by Saturday.
"Stephen had a stiff back while he was with Ireland for two or three days. We should be able to deal with that and he should be there or thereabouts come Saturday."
Glenn Hoddle is hopeful both Stephen Carr and Bobby Zamora will be fit to face Leeds United on Saturday.
