"I had a chat with OJ this morning," said the caretaker boss. "He certainly feels his thoughts and comments have been misunderstood. Quite clearly settling in always takes time and has its own difficulties but he is determined to do well and works very hard to that end.
"Any frustrations he has come through his impatience to achieve. He has made it clear to me that he does not in any way feel alienated and, as days go by, he will get more used to the dressing room banter."
David Pleat has responded to stories suggesting OJ Mabizela is feeling isolated at the club and reports that the South African international feels his comments, given in a radio interview, have been misconstrued.
