Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Our regular feature keeping tabs on Spurs in the news, old boys and links to the club.

IT'S BEEN a very quiet week in the newspapers but you can always rely on Sundays to get things moving again.

The Sunday People leads the way with a Spurs double.

The lead story on one of its Hotline pages says Carl Cort is a new £7m target for boss Glenn Hoddle.

The story suggests there have been rumours that the former Wimbledon striker would be happy to move back south and that Sir Bobby Robson will only consider selling a player of Cort's potential if he is able to find another top-class striker.

The People also report that we are close to capturing Belgian U21 midfielder Jonathan Blondel of Mouscron.

The Mirror's Chat Zone column links us with Athletic Madrid striker Ismael Urzaiz. He is out of contract.

Meanwhile, the News of the World's Planet Football pages link Matthew Etherington with a £3.5million move to Southampton.
