The sun and sand of the morning was followed by the rain in Spain as our training camp continued on Saturday.
The sky turned black just minutes before the scheduled start of the third and final session and with lightning in the air, the players quickly took cover to let the storm pass. Ten minutes later and everyone was ready for action.
Saturday was a long day. It started with another tough run on the site's golf course at 8.30am local time (7.30am UK) - five times around a one-kilometre lap including running at different speeds and a 100-metre sprint in the middle. The sweat was literally dripping off the lads.
A short break was followed by a trip to the beach where the lads went through sprint exercises before splitting into groups for beach football relays and sprint relays into the sea.

After the rain, the final session was back to football with finishing drills and short-sided matches played at two-touch and three-touch before an 'all-in' game over three-quarters of the pitch. That session ended at 8.35pm local time.
