The Club has travelled far and wide over the years - Bill Nicholson's squad went all the way to Russia ahead of the 1959-60 campaign, ahead of clinching the double in 1961 - but we didn't land Down Under until 1976.
Here is our story so far in Australia...

The first time we touched down in Australia. It was part of a wider Canada, Fiji and Australasia tour that saw us play nine matches in total between April 27-May 23.
We played five matches in Australia in that 1976 tour, winning them all. We beat Victoria 3-1 (in Melbourne), Northern NSW 5-1 (Newcastle), Australia National XI 3-2 (Sydney), Southern Australia 5-2 (Adelaide) and Western Australia 4-0 (Perth).
Martin Chivers top scored in Australia with five goals, including a hat-trick against Western Australia. Chris Jones hit four.

Our second tour of Australia, this time competing in the International Soccer Tournament against the Australian national team, Udinese of Italy and Brazilian side Vasco da Gama.
A 1-0 loss against Australia and 2-0 defeat against Udinese ended our hopes of reaching the final. We then drew 1-1 against Vasco da Gama before beating Udinese 4-0 in the third/fourth place game with David Leworthy, Mark Falco, Paul Miller and an own goal accounting for the victory.

We travelled Down Under for the third time on a post-season tour of Malaysia and Australia in May, 2015.
Having beaten a Malaysia XI side in Kuala Lumpur, we played Sydney FC in the iconic ANZ Stadium, host of the Sydney Olympics. Harry Kane scored the only goal of the game as over 70,000 fans packed out the stadium.
Our 2015 tour proved a big hit on and off the pitch and was later awarded 'Best Event' at the ‘Australia’s Favourite Event’ Awards.
