We take on our club partners and reigning Hong Kong champions – in fact, the 41-time winners of the HK First Division – at HK Stadium.
Pre-season or not, the lads were disappointed to lose 3-1 against Sunderland on Wednesday.
“We were very unhappy losing and we want to get a win under our belts as soon as possible,” said Gylfi, on target against the Black Cats.
“It’s mostly about fitness at the moment but professional footballers want to win every game and that’s what we’ll be determined to do on Saturday.”
Gylfi felt the game was there for the taking against Sunderland – but Vito Mannone produced key saves at 1-1 and Sunderland struck twice in the final 20 minutes.
“At 1-1, I felt we were quite comfortable,” he added. “We had a few chances and that could have changed the game.
“Fitness-wise, it was good to get the minutes under our belts, but we need to improve, not concede three goals and take our chances.”
