The lads swapped football for baseball and a trip to a MLB game at Oakland A's on Monday night.

Harry Redknapp, the coaching team, players and staff all made the short journey from San Jose to A's home at The Coliseum for the MLB match against the Boston Red Sox.

Before the action began, Gareth Bale went pitchside to present our new home shirt to Michael P. Crowley, A's President and meet one of the A's key players, second baseman Mark Ellis.

Ellis went on to make one of only three successful hits on the night for the A's as they were beaten 2-1, ending a winning sequence of five.
