Four members of the club were selected to train with the England CP Development Squad. Joe Martin, Peter Stone, Kwame Osei and Nick Jackson, all attended weekend sessions at Lilleshall throughout the season.
The U16’s came 2nd and 3rd in their league while the over 16’s Men’s team revenged their defeat in last year’s final at the hands of Chelsea to win the Men’s League beating the Blues twice on the way to lifting the trophy.
Kwame Osei, who scored 6 out of the 7 goals scored in the tournament celebrated the victory with a call up to the full England CP Squad for an International Tournament in Zeist, Holland.
The Dutch International Tournament will be held at the KNVB Headquarters. Starting next week, England will play against Russia, USA, Iran and Holland. Details of the team’s progress as well as general information about the England CP Team can be found on the FA’s Website www.thefa.com
This Sunday, our EPCP team will take to the pitch at half-time of the Nationwide Conference Play-Off Final between Exeter City and Morecombe to display some of the skills that saw them top their league this season.This season has been an extremely successful one for EPCP Spurs, a club for footballers aged 8 - 20 with ambulant cerebral palsy (CP). The club has been developed through a partnership between Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, the Vale School based in Tottenham and the Emerson Park School and Sports College based in Hornchurch, Essex .
