The Head Coach put the lads through their paces at the 54,000-seater Barcelona Olympic Stadium as the hard work continued ahead of another busy period on the pitch.
“We are here because we believe the team needed a break and for team bonding too,” said Mauricio.
“We have come from a very busy period and we have ahead a lot of games in a key period for us.
“It’s important for us to build a strong mentality and improve the relationship between us and I think this is a good opportunity for us to do that.”
We return to action in the FA Cup at Colchester United on Saturday, kick-off 12.45pm.
