Tens wins out of 10 soon became 11 out of 11 but that's where it ended as Manchester City held us to a 1-1 in match 12.
But Bill's all-conquering team had well and truly laid the foundations for our second league title - and the famous double would be completed in the FA Cup Final against Leicester City in May, 1961.
