Comic actor Mat Horne is certainly a busy man at the moment with TV and film commitments as well as theatre work
But Spurs remains very much on his mind and he is convinced that the future remains golden despite the disappointments of this season.
Interviewed in this month's issue of hotspur magazine, Horne looks back on his school days when his only missing Panini sticker featured Clive Allen.
Indeed, it was his sticker album that led to him becoming a Spurs fan. His father offered to buy him whatever kit he wanted for Christmas - and Mat picked Tottenham.
"This season has been stop-start but getting to a Cup final again was a great achivement and I think the team has grown immeasurably over the past few months," he says.
"Sure there has been a bit of inconsistency from time to time but it has been a strange year for many sides in the Premier League and you can sense optimism around White Hart Lane for the future."
