Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is pleased to announce a new partnership with educational initiative Aimhigher and its roadshow tour.
A RBS supported government programme, now in its fourth year in North London, the Aimhigher roadshow encourages people from backgrounds with little or no family experience of higher education to go to university.
To celebrate this partnership, we are giving away a money-can't-buy prize in next week’s edition of Match magazine. One lucky reader will win a trip to a training ground session, where Club staff will offer one-to-one advice on how university can lead to a top job in football.
An Aimhigher spokesperson said: "It's fantastic news that Spurs have thrown their full support behind the scheme. Most fans don't know about all the top jobs at a football club that require a university education, so the Club's support really helps! There are over 50,000 university courses available and A-levels aren't the only way to get on to them. Study-whilst-you-work vocational courses like NVQs and BTECs are also accepted. There's just so much choice out there that my advice is to look into it and find something that really works for you."
The college roadshow takes place onboard a state of the art 27ft education trailer, where a recent graduate and RBS finance expert advise students on a range of university-related issues including managing finances and getting support.
