Martin Jol made two changes to the starting line-up from the Boxing Day win against Villa - Calum Davenport came in for Ledley King with Mido partnering Jermain Defoe up front, Dimitar Berbatov on the bench.

THE KEY ACTION...

26.38: SAVE. Kuyt released Bellamy, right channel of box, took early shot from 20 yards that Robinson saved well diving low to his right.

27.31: CLOSE. Bellamy in box, poked ball back to Kuyt who curled inches wide from 18 yards.

32.18: Our best move yet, Mido spread play wide to Ghaly, he flicked ball into path of supporting Huddlestone, right side of box, crossed immediately for Defoe who couldn't qite get hold of it under pressure.

Added time: GOAL - LIVERPOOL. Gerrard robbed Zokora of possession, played one-two with Kuyt, attempted shot rebounded into path of Garcia who finished from close range.

46.02: SAVE. Bellamy appeared to foul Davenport in winning ball, nothing given, Bellamy lashed low left-foot drive that Robinson saved well down to his right.

55.45: CHANCE. Finnan whipped cross in from right, Garcia onto it, six yards out, completed missed header.

69mins: WOODWORK. Murphy into Berbatov, right side of box again, cross deflected onto his own crossbar by Finnan.
